ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be responsible for managing air freight import movements from origin through to final delivery, ensuring service excellence and smooth coordination across all stakeholders.
DUTIES
• Acting as the primary point of contact for Australian customers and providing regular shipment updates
• Delivering personalised customer service to a diverse client base and maintaining strong working relationships
• Managing inventory control across international air freight depots
• Preparing load plans and communicating packing requirements to overseas partners
• Overseeing full shipment lifecycles, including customs clearance and local transport coordination
• Tracking purchase orders, flight bookings and cargo movements within allocated trade lanes
• Liaising closely with overseas offices and international agents to ensure on-time performance
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 2–5 years’ experience in Air Freight Operations, with a strong understanding of imports
• High attention to detail and accuracy when managing documentation and shipment data
• Strong time-management and organisational capabilities
• A proactive, team-oriented approach
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
