ABOUT THE ROLE
A rare opportunity to makr your mark in the MEL forwarding space, this all-round Branch, Sales & Key Accounts position is ideally suited to a forwarder ready to take control of a branch and make it their own. Leading the MEL branch, maintaining an existing portfolio of clients while developing new opportunities. Once settled, the position will be tasked with growing the MEL team. Previous experience in gaining and maintaining Freight forwarding customers is imperative.

DUTIES
• Extensive knowledge of International Freight (Import/Export) 
• Ability to build strong relationships developed from working in the Freight Forwarding industry
• Ability to quickly adapt to client needs to provide product and service knowledge to translate a customer's need into a solution
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 
• Account Management of existing key clients within Freight Forwarding  
• Research and development of new sales opportunities
• Implementation of new strategies to increase business growth
• Rate negotiations
• Preparation of sales reports
