ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is looking for the right person committed to building and sustaining strong, meaningful relationships that drive long-term growth. Their business development philosophy centers on understanding partners’ needs, fostering trust, and creating value through consistent, thoughtful engagement. This relationship-focused approach not only enhances their market presence but also reinforces their reputation as a dependable, forward-thinking partner dedicated to mutual success.
DUTIES
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support long-term partnership growth.
• Identify new business opportunities by researching markets, understanding client needs, and aligning solutions with strategic goals.
• Manage the full business development pipeline, from initial outreach through negotiation and deal closure.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery, consistent communication, and a high-quality client experience.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Extensive experience developing and maintaining relationships with shippers, carriers, and logistics partners to support long-term, repeat business.
• Proven ability to identify new trade lanes, evaluate market demand, and secure opportunities across air, sea, and road freight.
• Strong background in preparing and presenting tailored freight solutions, including pricing, routing options, and service capabilities.
• Demonstrated success managing end-to-end sales cycles within freight forwarding, from lead generation and tender responses to contract negotiation and onboarding.
