A growing business, this ISO accredited company manufactures and supplies a wide range of high-quality engineered industrial products to a variety of industries for use in the industrial, infrastructure and domestic markets. With an ever-expanding footprint, to support the company’s growth, they are in the market to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager.
 
 
The Role
 
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth through new customer acquisition, account development, and the expansion of recurring revenue opportunities. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to the achievement of sales and profitability targets.
 
  • Drive new business development and revenue growth within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Build and manage long-term customer relationships and key accounts.
  • Identify customer needs and develop appropriate service solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements.
  • Negotiate and close sales opportunities while maintaining profitability.
  • Manage contract renewals and identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, reporting, and sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business objectives.
 
 
The Person
 
With several years’ experience in technical sales or business development within building, mechanical, or industrial services, you will have a proven track record of growing service contracts and recurring revenue. Your experience will include selling to facility managers, building owners, contractors, and consulting engineers.
 
You will demonstrate strong commercial, communication, relationship management, and organisational skills. Current Australian driver’s licence required.
