Call Centre Operator – Customer Service

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Call Centre Operator to join a busy Service Division. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems and working as part of a collaborative team.
Reporting to the Call Centre Supervisor, you will be responsible for handling incoming service enquiries from customers across Australia, accurately logging service jobs and ensuring customers receive timely, professional and helpful support throughout the service process.

Reporting to the Call Centre Supervisor, you will be responsible for handling incoming service enquiries from customers across Australia, accurately logging service jobs and ensuring customers receive timely, professional and helpful support throughout the service process.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to incoming customer calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
- Logging service jobs, installations and planned maintenance requests
- Accurately entering and maintaining customer, equipment and service information in Salesforce
- Liaising with Service Schedulers regarding technician availability and ETAs
- Keeping customers informed throughout the lifecycle of their service request
- Managing customer enquiries, complaints and disputes, escalating where required
- Processing credit card pre-authorisations and payments
- Explaining warranty, recall and service policies to customers
- Liaising with Credit Controllers regarding customer accounts
- Working across customer portals and external systems as required
- Providing general administration and support to the wider Service team
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience in customer service, call centre, service coordination or administration.
You will bring strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with busy or challenging situations.
You will also have:
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Confident and professional telephone communication
- Accurate data entry and administration skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- A proactive and accountable approach
- Good computer and systems skills – Salesforce experience would be advantageous
- The ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal teams
- A flexible, resilient and team-focused attitude
