The Role
Reporting to the Credit Operations Manager, this is a hands-on credit role responsible for the day-to-day management of the AR ledger. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate payment records, driving timely collection of outstanding invoices, and resolving payment discrepancies – all while building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Processing and allocating customer payments in the ERP system; daily banking and reconciliation
  • Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and prompt payment collection
  • Timely collection calls; follow up outstanding COD payments within 24hrs; return calls within agreed timeframes
  • Apply collection procedures and credit law; manage stop credit, credit limits and risk minimisation
  • Process new account applications in line with credit insurance procedures; monitor existing accounts ongoing
  • Generate statements, invoices and customer documentation accurately and within agreed timeframes
  • Maintain professional customer communication to meet legal and business obligations
  • General administration, housekeeping and customer service support as required
  • Other ad-hoc duties to support the team
The Person
  • Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Officer role
  • Strong understanding of AR processes, credit law and end-to-end credit application procedures
  • Familiarity with NetSuite desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is essential
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; strong customer service focus
  • High attention to detail and accuracy; strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proactive, results-oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow within the business
