We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Relationship Specialist to join a well-established global consumer products organisation based in Clayton.
This is an initial 6-month temporary contract, with the potential for extension. Working as part of the Direct-to-Consumer team, you will play a key role in delivering a premium customer experience across a portfolio of leading home appliance brands.

About the Role

This is a hands-on customer service and order management position where attention to detail, empathy and strong communication skills are essential.
You will manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery, working closely with internal teams and external logistics partners to ensure a seamless experience. You'll also become a product expert, providing customers with accurate information and supporting the resolution of any issues or escalations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders from initial receipt through to delivery
  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide accurate advice regarding product availability, discontinued products and delivery timeframes
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records within SAP and internal systems
  • Coordinate returns, refunds and exchanges as required
  • Liaise with internal Logistics, Finance, Sales, Marketing and After Sales teams
  • Work closely with third-party logistics partners to coordinate seamless deliveries
  • Follow up and resolve customer escalations
  • Ensure customer interactions and order information are accurately documented
  • Support the wider team with projects and ad hoc activities as required
About You
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with customers and takes pride in delivering an exceptional service experience.
You will ideally have:
  • Previous experience in customer service, order management, administration or a similar role
  • Strong experience dealing directly with customers via phone and email
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of empathy and a customer-first approach
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence working collaboratively within a team
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • The ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
Experience within consumer products, retail, home appliances or a similar environment would also be advantageous.
