About the Role
Reporting to the Customs Manager, you will drive the integrity of customs and logistics data, coordinate import activities, and support end-to-end operations across vehicles, parts, and accessories. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare customs worksheets and liaise with brokers to ensure timely clearance of vehicles and motorcycles
- Coordinate import processes including Goods Receipts, shipping documentation, and customs lodgements
- Maintain and consolidate invoice registers to support cost allocation
- Administer parts import documentation and coordinate with freight forwarders
- Produce monthly freight analysis and operational reporting
- Manage transit damage claims, working closely with dealers, shipping lines, and 3PL providers
- Negotiate cost outcomes and manage responsibility for transit damage claims across logistics partners
- Coordinate export warranty returns and broader logistics activities
- Ensure accurate data entry into SAP systems to maintain inventory integrity
- Provide support to the Accounting team where required
- Degree qualified in Logistics, Commerce, Business or similar
- Experience within customs, freight forwarding or logistics
- Sound knowledge of import/export documentation, compliance requirements and operational coordination
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros and data analysis
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to liaise across multiple partners
- High level of literacy with strong written and verbal communication
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical capability
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a structured and organised way
