ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a motivated Customs Operator who is currently completing their Diploma of Customs Broking and looking to take the next step toward becoming a licensed Customs Broker. Based in Melbourne and reporting to the National Customs Manager, this is your opportunity to grow within a modern, paperless environment, supported by a collaborative and experienced customs team. With strong back-office support from a centralised shared services team, you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of clients while receiving the mentorship and guidance needed to progress your career as a licensed Customs Broker.

DUTIES
• Process files through the complete customs process
• Ability to be hands-on with compiling and classification
• Learn to resolve specific and technical queries

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understand the import (air/sea) process
• Ability to learn, adapt and take on feedback
