ABOUT THE ROLE
The Distribution Manager leads and manages warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality receival, storage, packaging, and distribution of fresh produce. The focus is on consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations through operational excellence.
DUTIES
• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including planning, task allocation, reporting, and driving performance against revenue and margin targets.
• Oversee stock control, replenishment, and supply chain outcomes to minimise waste, improve workflow efficiencies, and enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Develop and implement SOPs while driving continuous improvement across operations, quality, safety, and environmental performance.
• Manage team performance, recruitment, costs, site maintenance, and WHS compliance, fostering a strong safety culture aligned with company values.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Proven leadership experience in warehouse and stock control management, ideally within FMCG or fresh produce environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to motivate teams and work autonomously.
• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, solve problems effectively, and meet deadlines with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Solid knowledge of HACCP and WHS requirements, current forklift licence, and a high level of integrity and reliability.
