The Role

Based in Clayton and reporting to the Leading Hand, you’ll be responsible for electrical assembly and test activities for repairs and maintenance as well as bespoke electrical requirements for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine servicing, maintenance, and electrical repairs of generator and compressed air equipment
• Wiring and testing, including load testing.
• Previous alternator and AVR experience highly desirable.
• Electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Maintaining detailed service reports and records
• Supporting a positive safety culture and contributing to continuous improvement
• Working with internal teams to ensure smooth operations

Hours

Full-time permanent role | Monday to Friday (6am to 2pm) | Overtime available!!

Key Requirements

• A-Grade Electrical qualification (Australian recognised)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the power generation or related industries
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• LVR First Aid/CPR (if you do not have they will support you getting this.)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Self-driven and able to work autonomously in the field
