An Australian-owned freight forwarding and logistics provider, our client strongly focuses on freight forwarding operations delivering over and above customer service solutions to a valued portfolio of accounts.
ABOUT THE ROLE
With growth, an opportunity has become available to join their team in an Export Operations role. Handling export operations end to end, handling all aspects of the process. Based in Tullamarine and reporting to the Department Supervisor and/or Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience in export freight operations while developing valuable skills.
DUTIES
- Communicating with colleagues, clients, and service providers via email and phone
- Assisting with quotes for customers and agents
- Supporting the coordination of export shipments from start to finish
- Learning to manage invoicing and job cost entries
- A proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer knowledge (experience with CargoWise is a bonus but not essential)
- No prior industry experience required – full training provided
