Pivotal role involved in the daily management of a wide variety of financial tasks, with the business reporting to the parent co based in London. Lots of exciting advancements in technology are currently in play.

The Role
 
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will get involved in a number of key projects while partnering closely with managers across the business. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
 
  • Manage and maintain accounting records and produce monthly and annual financial statements
  • Advising on strategic planning and business planning
  • Initiate and download various reports from SAP B1, analyse and present to the management team
  • Creating financial statements for internal and external company requirements
  • Providing financial analysis and forecasting
  • Supporting audit projects
  • Set up pricing conditions in SAP under the guidance of the Commercial Manager and generally manage all pricing and costings
  • Maintain Fixed Assets Register and prepare Capex Form
  • Prepare statutory reports including BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, Workcover, and Superannuation
  • Completion and submission of surveys received from ABS office on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Occasionally overseeing AP/AR functions
 
 
The Person
 
CA or CPA qualified you will be looking to make a difference by improving information systems and reporting processes. Career-minded and ambitious, you will see yourselves engaging with key stakeholders to assist in the successful operation of the business and its operations. Previous experience in audit or business services will be highly regarded, this could be a great first step into industry, alternatively, a next step from industry if you have no career path defined. You will be surrounded by a group of dynamic individuals who want to make a difference.
