The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller with a dotted line to above country leadership, this is a temporary role responsible for delivering accurate and timely invoicing, financial processing and general ledger support across multiple entities. Working closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Business Partners, you will contribute to end-to-end accounting processes, tax compliance, audit support and the continuous improvement of internal controls.

The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller with a dotted line to above country leadership, this is a temporary role responsible for delivering accurate and timely invoicing, financial processing and general ledger support across multiple entities. Working closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Business Partners, you will contribute to end-to-end accounting processes, tax compliance, audit support and the continuous improvement of internal controls.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Prepare, review and issue weekly and monthly customer invoices and statements across multiple entities
- Maintain the Accounts Receivable ledger including accurate customer, pricing and billing records
- Allocate and match customer receipts; perform customer account reconciliations
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received in line with agreed credit terms; investigate and resolve invoicing discrepancies
- Assist with the preparation of BAS, FBT, PTS and other compliance work
- Support statutory and tax compliance processes including BAS, Payroll Tax and FBT
- Ensure month-end journals, accruals and adjustments are completed in accordance with accounting standards and internal control policies
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements including supporting schedules and audit evidence
- Contribute to financial governance by ensuring adherence to relevant statutory, audit and accounting standards
- Support continuous improvement of compliance-related processes including control documentation and audit trails
- Assist with preparation of financial reporting schedules for month-end, quarter-end and year-end requirements
- Assistance with both AP and AR staff if required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; CPA or CA qualification desirable
- Tangible experience in a similar financial accounting or analyst role
- Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, accounts receivable and month-end reporting
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and accounting standards
- Strong understanding of invoicing processes, balance sheet reconciliations and tax compliance (BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax)
- Excellent attention to detail, commercial acumen and strong analytical skills
- Results-driven, resilient and service-oriented; comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
