This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and can quickly step in to support leaders with employee relations, award interpretation, and general HR advisory support. For the right person, there may be potential for the 4-8 week assignment to extend.

Working closely with senior leaders within the retail portfolio, you will provide hands-on HR support across a range of employee matters while ensuring best-practice people processes are followed.

About the Role
Working closely with senior leaders within the retail portfolio, you will provide hands-on HR support across a range of employee matters while ensuring best-practice people processes are followed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance to leaders on employee relations matters, including grievances, performance, and conduct
- Supporting the management of investigations and workplace issues
- Advising on retail awards and employment legislation
- Assisting with case management and documentation
- Coaching leaders on handling people matters effectively and consistently
- Supporting the broader People & Culture team with day-to-day HR advisory support
- Proven experience in a HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
- Strong employee relations and grievance management experience
- Confident with award interpretation, ideally within retail or multi-site environments
- Able to work autonomously and step into a busy environment quickly
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Available to start immediately
