The Role
The HR Advisor provides practical, timely advice to managers and employees to support the organisation’s operational and strategic goals. This broad generalist role covers end-to-end HR support including recruitment, employee relations, performance and development, remuneration, HR administration and reporting, and WHS support. Key responsibilities include:
The Person
With a Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Workplace Health & Safety, or a related discipline, you will also have strong HRIS, Microsoft Office skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You’ll bring proven end-to-end recruitment experience, along with solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation, employee relations, WHS and RTW requirements. You’re confident managing workplace matters and supporting the development and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.
You’ll be a trusted advisor with strong stakeholder management skills, able to coach and guide leaders at all levels. You take a proactive approach with sound judgement and initiative, and you’re resilient, adaptable and customer-focused, able to influence and negotiate outcomes while contributing positively to a team environment.

The Role
The HR Advisor provides practical, timely advice to managers and employees to support the organisation’s operational and strategic goals. - Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees across the employee lifecycle
- Coach and guide leaders on performance management, development and people matters
- Support employee relations issues, including performance / conduct, grievances and conflict resolution
- Provide guidance on workplace behaviour matters and ensure fair, compliant outcomes
- Support leaders with Award / IR advice and updates to workplace requirements
- Maintain accurate HR records, documentation and reporting
- Assist with HR policies, learning & development and employee benefits initiatives
- Support WHS administration and compliance activities as needed
