An opportunity exists for an experienced HR Business Partner
to join a well-established national organisation operating within the energy and industrial services sector. This business supports critical infrastructure across Australia and is known for its strong focus on safety, performance and operational excellence.
Based in Mulgrave, this role supports a Rental & Operations business unit and offers genuine exposure to senior leaders in a hands-on, commercially focused environment.

Reporting to the General Manager – Human Resources, the HR Business Partner acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and line managers, aligning people strategies with business objectives. You will play a key role in driving performance, engagement, safety and culture across a predominantly blue-collar workforce.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and managers to provide end-to-end HR advice across the employee lifecycle
- Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, engagement, retention and off-boarding
- Champion safety, wellbeing and cultural initiatives
- Deliver HR projects aligned to business strategy and growth
- Lead the annual performance and salary review processes
- Support role evaluation and remuneration benchmarking
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation and internal policies
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, reporting and insights
- Work collaboratively with HR and Payroll teams
- Degree in Human Resources, Employment Relations or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role within a utilities, manufacturing, logistics or operational environment
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Practical, solutions-focused and highly organised
