An Australian-owned wholesale forwarding provider, our client strongly focuses on import and export consolidations, delivering over and above customer service solutions to a valued portfolio of accounts.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an entry-level Airfreight Import role suited to a candidate looking to enter the logistics market and commence a career. The position offers variety and exposure to freight forwarding, logistics, order management and processing. Perfect for a motivated candidate interested in forwarding!
DUTIES
• Processing driver Import paperwork for clearance and release
• Assist drivers with export paperwork before delivery
• Assist warehouse staff with x-ray screening paperwork
• Ensure all office visitors are signed in according to SOP
• Assist the airfreight team as required
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Further education in logistics and or supply chain is an advantage
• Sound operating knowledge of essential computer functions
• Previous exposure to dealing with clients in previous roles
• Current Drivers Licence
• Police check may be required for airport clearance
COMPANY CULTURE
