ABOUT THE ROLE
An Import Operations Manager, leading a team  through the complete import operations process, including pre-alert, underbond, out-turn, costing and invoicing. The position manages both retail and wholesale operations. Robust compliance and organisation are imperative in this hands-on role because of the position in a 77G warehouse with an air and sea focus. 

DUTIES
• Ensure a team of 4 completes all Import files correctly and on time 
• Coordinate volumes and priorities with warehouse and transport peers 
• Maintain and update KPIs per stakeholder requirements 
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team
• First point of call for escalations 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 
• Experience leading an Import team within a bonded warehouse 
• Previous dealing with Customs and AQIS relating to held items 
• Previous exposure to managing people  
• Understanding of essential government compliance 
• Understanding of computer software (CW1, excel)
