ABOUT THE ROLE
Working within a fast-paced Import Operations team. The role of Import Operator is a hands-on position. Reporting through to the Branch Manager, the job is responsible for the whole import process. The successful candidate will be supported through the induction period to ensure they settle into this hard working, friendly team.

DUTIES
• Cross-checking, sorting and entering all incoming notices into e-docs
• Lodging SCA for all import shipments
• Completing weekly status reports and troubleshooting potential issues
• Working closely with overseas agents to ensure a full set of documents is obtained
• Liaising daily with clients, Customs Brokers and all parties involved

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years experience in a freight forwarding role (Operations or Customer Service)
• Understand end to end import freight forwarder process
• Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in written text
• Sound systems usage ability (CW1, PO Modules)
• Strong computer literacy (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
