ABOUT THE ROLE
An opportunity has become available to join their team in an Import Operations role. Handling import operations end to end, both air and sea, general and perishable cargo, you would be overseeing all aspects of the process. Based in Tullamarine, the role suits an operator with 2-3 years of experience looking to move into a team that thrives on volumes.
DUTIES
• Ensure all shipments are handled from the order through to delivery at the destination port
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships
• Full Customer Service provision for all orders
• Ensure full costing and invoicing are accurate for each file
• Client visits with the commercial team to build strong relationships
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 2-3 years experience in Import Seafreight operations
• Previous exposure in an end to end import role in freight forwarding
• Exposure to working closely with key clients
• Experience with perishable cargo a bonus
• Comfortable working with high volume and fast pace
COMPANY CULTURE
