ABOUT THE ROLE
Working at the Melbourne Distribution Centre and reporting to the DC Manager, the position will focus on day-to-day inbound warehouse operations. The Inbound Stock Manager will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure all aspects of inbound operations are carried out. The position is more than a standard receiving position; it is an autonomous position supporting the inbound operations. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience in managing inbound stock, stock rotations, and optimising locations, with exposure to Odoo or Solbox ERP, as well as cool rooms being an advantage.
DUTIES
• Lead a team of 10 warehouse operators, hands-on, supporting the team
• Ensure all receipting is accurate and on time
• Work closely with the warehouse leaders on WHS, compliance, process improvement and SOP
• Mentor, manage and motivate the inbound team
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Demonstrated experience as an Inbound Warehouse Leader
• Exposure to working with production, planning or manufacturing teams with stock projections
• Experience in WSE, HSE, cross-training, upskilling and mentoring large teams
• Previous experience with FMCG food / temperature-controlled goods is an advantage
