ABOUT THE ROLE
This Junior Business Development Manager role will ideally suit someone ready to transition from an operational or customer service role into the sales space. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven and prepared to take the lead. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with all key stakeholders that will offer a wealth of support and mentoring.
DUTIES
• Extensive knowledge of international freight
• The desire & ability to work independently
• Control the sales process and ensure all active leads are actioned and followed through accordingly
• Develop and nurture new business leads within freight forwarding
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 3+ years experience within the freight forwarding industry
• Implementation of new strategies to increase business growth
• Research and development of new sales opportunities
• Account management of new accounts
• Professional approach towards solution selling
