ABOUT THE ROLE
The Key Account Manager position has a national focus, managing a portfolio of accounts. With a strong commercial objective, the position manages relationships with key points of contact, retention of existing clients, farming of new opportunities, QBRs, escalation points for issues, report management, and assisting with new business implementation. Previous experience in a similar role in International Freight Forwarding and monthly travel is imperative.
DUTIES
• Singular point of contact for a portfolio of accounts
• Focus on relationship development with the key client contacts
• Explore new business opportunities and value-added services within your portfolio of accounts
• Analyse and report essential trends and issues to internal and external contacts around agreed KPIs
• Work closely with key personnel to onboard new business opportunities
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years experience in a professionally focused Key Account Manager position
• Demonstrated experience managing QBRs and SOP maintenance
• Professional appearance and approach to all aspects of the workplace
• Demonstrated ability to develop internal and external relationships
• Previous commercial experience, notably farming existing clients for new business opportunities
