ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is adding a Licenced Customs Broker to their Melbourne office. The position is a solo broker in Melbourne as part of a national team reporting to the Sydney-based Manager. Handling the clearance process from end to end, this role also requires providing mentoring and support to the Melbourne operational team.

DUTIES
• Process and lodge a high volume of files
• Ability to be hands on with compiling and classification
• Provide mentoring and Customs support to the operational team
• Identify ACS, AQIS and ATO duties and tax initiatives to benefit the customers
• Resolve specific and technical queries for both clients and fellow brokers

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years as a licenced Customs Broker preferred
• Previous experience working autonomously
• AEP accreditation is advantageous
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with CW1 and/or Expedient and paperless preferred
