Our client is a leading global manufacturing organisation. Due to continued growth and an expanding product portfolio, they require a Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone who enjoys working autonomously, coordinating multiple logistics activities and ensuring the smooth movement of inventory from import through to final customer delivery.
You will work closely with internal teams and external logistics providers to coordinate imports, inventory, outbound deliveries, returns and general logistics administration.

Reporting to the Australian Distribution Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Imports
- Monitor incoming containers arriving from overseas
- Maintain and update container ETAs in relevant systems
- Coordinate and schedule unloading activities with logistics service providers
- Register shipping documentation for import customs clearance
- Monitor fumigation and customs clearance processes
- Coordinate workshop transfers in collaboration with warehouse and customer service teams
- Create product labels for repackaged units
- Support rework activities
- Monitor stock levels, movements and inventory variances
- Assist with general stock reconciliation across the warehouse network
- Monitor national transfers between warehouses
- Maintain accurate delivery ETAs within relevant systems
- Investigate and process daily delivery exceptions
- Process return requests and replacement orders relating to transport damage
- Retrieve proof of delivery (POD) documentation
- Coordinate ad hoc courier deliveries for internal departments
- Process customer claims and return requests
- Coordinate return requests from Order Management teams across D2C, Projects and Retail
- Process manual refunds for exchanges through Power Apps
- Conduct daily checks to ensure correct use of shipping conditions
- Monitor and investigate failed deliveries
- Apply additional services in the system prior to invoice reconciliation
- Generate regular logistics reports
- Provide general administrative support to the Logistics team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Logistics Coordinator, Logistics Administrator, Supply Chain Coordinator or similar role
- Experience coordinating freight, deliveries, inventory or warehouse activities
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with internal teams, customers and external logistics providers
- Experience working with logistics, inventory or ERP systems
- A proactive and autonomous approach to your work
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve operational exceptions
- A solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
