ABOUT THE ROLE
A newly created position reporting to the General Manager, the National Operations Manager will lead a transformation of the warehouse operations, taking a well-established business through a tremendous period of growth. A national role, heading up locations in Melbourne and Sydney, with scope to grow into Brisbane, leading multiple warehouses, being hands on when required. The position will drive a positive culture, update SOPs, and connect/align the WMS to achieve the agreed strategic objectives and drive performance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with NetSuite and IT troubleshooting.
DUTIES
• Manage the Sales Order / WMS connection, including report management and purchasing
• Analyse and identify process improvement initiatives
• Ensure all tracking and POD information is updated and visible
• Analyse, update and adopt strong SOP across the warehouse and transport
• Manage all reporting to ownership, including operational and financial
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 10+ Demonstrated Supply Chain/Operations/Warehouse Management on a national scale
• Proven experience in analysing SOP efficiency and productivity through process improvement initiatives
• Experience with managing/costing/budgeting for staff based on workloads
• Ability to report back to ownership with operational updates
• Demonstrated exposure to NetSuite WMS function, IT troubleshooting and report generating
