The Role
 
The OHS & Safety Administrator is primarily responsible for coordinating and maintaining occupational health and safety administrative systems at the company’s head office, manufacturing and warehouse facility in Victoria.
 
Key Responsibilities include:
 
  • Managing incident records, safety data, and corrective actions within the safety management system
  • Maintaining accurate safety documentation, registers, and compliance records
  • Supporting implementation of safety procedures and escalating overdue actions or compliance gaps
  • Coordinating safety training and tracking attendance and certifications
  • Assisting with employee and contractor safety inductions
  • Managing contractor compliance documentation and site safety requirements (e.g., PPE, signage, testing)
  • Logging and tracking workplace incidents and supporting injury and return-to-work processes
  • Assisting with safety communications, document control, and preparation of safety reports and dashboards for management
 
 
The Person
 
You must have a Certificate IV in WHS and previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or transport-based business. You will bring strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external providers.
 
You will be proficient in Microsoft Office and digital safety systems (e.g. Safety Champion) with a sound knowledge of WHS record-keeping and administrative compliance. Familiarity with OHS legislation, Safety Duties, and contractor requirements.
