The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of end-to-end payroll for approximately 360 employees while supporting the broader finance function.
Payroll
- End-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing
- Interpret Awards, EBAs and payroll legislation
- Process superannuation, payroll tax, STP, PAYG and month/year-end activities
- Maintain payroll records, resolve employee queries and ensure ongoing compliance
- Provide backup support across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Assist with job costing, project accounting and profitability reporting
- Support BAS, GST, reconciliations and month-end reporting
- Assist with audits and provide finance support to the CFO
You'll bring:
- Proven end-to-end payroll experience
- Strong knowledge of Awards, EBAs and Australian payroll legislation
- Experience across transactional accounting (AP/AR)
- Strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach
