Their continual growth has created an opportunity for a passionate and highly experienced Payroll Manager to join their head office team.

The Role
This isn’t your standard payroll gig; it’s a role where you’ll genuinely influence outcomes and modernise how payroll is delivered.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include,
Key Responsibilities
• End-to-end payroll processing of a fortnightly payroll for salaried and waged staff
• Master data employee detail changes
• Month-end and year-end reporting, reconciliations and compliance reporting – superannuation, payroll tax and workers’ compensation
• Accurate EBA and Award interpretation across 24/7 manufacturing, warehousing and distribution operations
• Auditing and strengthening governance and compliance through improved systems and controls
• Business partnering with operation leaders to proactively support payroll queries
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to assist with streamlining payroll processes, via maximising the use of UKG and Payroll Metrics
About You
You’re an experienced Payroll Manager who knows what “good” truly looks like, and you’re passionate about being hands-on to make it happen. Technically strong and commercially aware, you enjoy working closely with the business to ensure payroll supports the broader operational goals.

You’ll bring:
• Proven experience managing an end-to-end Payroll within a manufacturing or multiple roster pattern complex environment
• Confidence in Award/EBA interpretation
• Solid systems capability, UKG (Workday) and Payroll Metrics experience is highly regarded
• A mindset geared towards improvement and innovation
• A collaborative style and excellent communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Passion and enthusiasm are a must!
