About the Role

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a small payroll team to deliver accurate, compliant and timely payroll
- End‑to‑end payroll processing across multiple sites and rosters, weekly and monthly payruns
- Managing complex award interpretation, particularly the SCHADS Award
- Overseeing payroll compliance, audits, reconciliations and statutory reporting
- Acting as the subject matter expert for payroll legislation, awards and EBAs
- Partnering with HR and Finance to support system improvements and process efficiencies
- Driving continuous improvement within payroll systems and practices
You are a confident payroll leader who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.
You will bring:
- Proven experience managing end‑to‑end payroll in a complex organisation
- Strong knowledge of SCHADS Award is highly desirable
- Experience supporting large, geographically dispersed workforces with varied shift patterns
- Demonstrated people leadership experience
- High attention to detail with a strong compliance mindset
- Dayforce experience highly regarded
