An established organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their collaborative payroll team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, confidently manage business-as-usual payroll processing, and support a friendly team environment.
Working within a high-volume payroll environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting the wider payroll function.

Working within a high-volume payroll environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting the wider payroll function.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of business-as-usual payroll
- Interpretation and application of the SCHADS Award
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Managing leave, superannuation and payroll reconciliations
- Responding to payroll queries from employees and managers
- Maintaining payroll data integrity and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Supporting the payroll team during busy processing periods
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a Payroll Officer position within a medium to large organisation
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and processing payroll under the SCHADS Award
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Availability to commence immediately
- Immediate start
