The Role
 
A Product Development and Brand Manager oversees the full lifecycle of a product, from early concept and market analysis through to production and brand positioning. Their key objective is to ensure each product addresses a clear consumer need while reinforcing the brand’s identity and contributing to sustain commercial success. Key duties include:
 
  • Lead strategic brand development, including defining brand identity, positioning, and long-term growth plans
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and maintain competitiveness
  • Oversee the full product development lifecycle from concept to launch
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and suppliers to ensure product quality, cost targets, and brand alignment
  • Manage relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and internal teams (sales and marketing)
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and support retail readiness
  • Control budgets, analyse for Cost of Goods Sold, and ensure profitability targets are met
 
The Person
 
With a degree in Marketing, Business, Industrial Design, or a related discipline, you bring several years of proven experience in Product Development or Brand Management, ideally within the FMCG or consumer electronics industries. You combine creative vision with strong analytical and project management skills and have the ability to translate a premium product into a more accessible, value-tier offering without compromising brand integrity. You also have a genuine interest in sustainable materials and ethical manufacturing practices.
