ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client seeks an experienced Project Coordinator to support their Victorian team's continuous growth and development. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in project coordination within the freight forwarding industry. It's not your standard forwarding role, managing complex projects. The position is the key contact point and involves hands-on involvement in all aspects of the operational process, including rego, cargo reporting, customer service, costing, transport, and invoicing as required. Strong CW1 knowledge is imperative.
DUTIES
• Provide proactive communication as the main contact point throughout Project timelines
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with new and existing customers
• Great verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skill
• Track orders to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high quality meeting all customer expectations
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role or senior operations in freight forwarding is mandatory
• CW1 knowledge is preferable
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills essential
• Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to develop freight forwarding knowledge
