ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a newly created role working as part of the national Sales team and reporting to the Sales Director as a result of national growth. The role will drive and develop new business opportunities and sales within the Sydney market. This hunter role, focusing on freight forwarding, is suited to an emerging sales executive driven to build a profile.
DUTIES
• Create and report on new business pipelines and activity with direct reports
• Generate new business leads & conversion across new and existing verticals
• Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to fully understand and sell service capabilities
• Meet set KPI targets as set by management
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years demonstrated success in freight forwarding with a focus on Sales, Key Account Management and Operations
• Previous experience driving and developing relationships in the Freight Forwarding market
• Ability to be well organised, prioritise and work well under pressure
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills both verbal and written
