As part of this journey, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Finance Professional to join their leadership team and play a key role in driving financial performance, sustainability, and strategic decision-making.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Finance Professional will lead a small team and oversee the financial operations of a complex, multi-site organisation. You will provide insightful financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support executive leadership and operational teams.
This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for someone who thrives in a purpose-led environment and is passionate about making a meaningful impact through sound financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of monthly management reports, annual budgets, and long-term financial forecasts
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the executive team and Board
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, standards, and funding requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting
  • Partner with operational leaders to support business performance and decision-making
  • Lead and mentor a small finance team with a focus on collaboration and development
  • Support funding applications, grant acquittals, and external audit processes
The Person

You are an experienced finance professional with a strong understanding of financial management in complex service-based organisations. You bring a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative leadership style.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in a senior finance role
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with a focus on strategic outcomes
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
  • Passion for working in a values-based, purpose-led organisation
