We're partnering with a well-established national organisation seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join their payroll team on an immediate-start, 2-month contract.
Working closely with an experienced Payroll Lead and alongside a small, collaborative national payroll team, you'll play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance and process efficiency during a busy period.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, identifying improvements, and providing support on more complex payroll matters while working within a genuinely supportive team environment.

What you'll be doing:
- Running and analysing payroll variance reports
- Completing payroll reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Assisting with complex payroll queries and escalations
- Reviewing payroll data for accuracy and compliance
- Providing recommendations around payroll best practice and process improvements
- Supporting payroll processing within an outsourced ADP environment
- Maintaining employee payroll records and data integrity
- Assisting with payroll adjustments, terminations and leave calculations
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll-related matters
- Assisting the Payroll Lead with BAU payroll activities as required

To be successful, you'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in a Senior Payroll Officer or Payroll Specialist capacity
- Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge
- Experience working with outsourced payroll models
- Exposure to ADP payroll systems would be ideal
- Advanced reconciliation and analytical skills
- Sound understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- The ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
