About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior People & Culture Business Partner to step in during a busy transition period. This is a hands-on role where you’ll build strong relationships with leaders, provide trusted day-to-day HR support, and help keep operations running smoothly.

About the Role
You’ll be the first point of call for managers across multiple sites, guiding them through people challenges with confidence and care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on Enterprise Agreements, awards, and the Fair Work Act in a clear, practical way.
  • Partnering closely with managers as a trusted advisor and sounding board.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with union partners.
  • Reviewing payroll setups, classifications, and entitlements to ensure fairness and compliance.
  • Identifying and resolving under/overpayments with clarity and empathy.
  • Responding to queries and keeping HR documentation accurate and up to date.
While the focus is business-as-usual support, there may also be opportunities to contribute to strategic people and culture projects once the permanent role is appointed.

About You
You’re a confident and approachable HR professional who:
  • Has strong knowledge of ER/IR, awards, and EA’s, and can make sense of the detail for others.
  • Brings solid HR business partnering experience and thrives on being close to the action.
  • Balances technical expertise with a pragmatic, people-first approach.
  • Is adaptable, resilient, and ready to roll up your sleeves where needed.
