About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an Senior People & Culture Coordinator to join their team during an exciting period of transition and growth. With the Head of HR moving onto a new project and several team members stepping into new roles, this six-month fixed-term position offers a unique chance to support a busy HR function ahead of the peak season.

About the Role
In this role, you will provide essential support to the Performance and Development team and work closely with the Senior Business Partner. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with performance management processes such as Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), six-monthly and annual reviews, and annual work plans
  • Supporting training and development initiatives
  • Managing escalations and participating in employee relations matters as needed
  • Conducting interviews and assisting with HR documentation
  • Providing administrative support to the HR Business Partner during peak periods
  • Managing HR inbox enquiries to ensure timely and efficient responses
  • Using HRIS systems and task management tools to coordinate workflows and delegate actions
This role focuses on performance, development, and compliance support for a workforce of approximately 550 employees, rather than full end-to-end employee lifecycle management.

You are a detail-oriented and compliance-driven HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment while appreciating a laid-back and approachable workplace culture.
You bring:
  • Experience in HR coordination or administration
  • Strong knowledge of performance management processes
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Confidence and emotional maturity to work independently
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (such as Employment Hero) and task management tools (such as Monday.com) is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support regional sites if required

About the Company
Our client is a government-affiliated organisation responsible for managing multiple regional sites and supporting a diverse workforce. With a dedicated HR team of around 12 professionals, they foster a collaborative and flexible work environment that balances compliance with a casual and down-to-earth culture. The head office is located in a suburban area, with HR representatives occasionally based at regional locations.
The role offers five days in the office for onboarding and training, followed by flexible work-from-home options.
