This multinational corporation is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of the complete premium system of tools, equipment, and accessories for several industries.
  
The Role
 
As the Territory Sales Manager the primary goal is to meet and exceed sales and gross profit targets set by the Head of Commercial. Harnessing client relationships to foster long-term, repeat customer loyalty is key alongside an aptitude for negotiating best margin outcomes, assuring market alignment.
 
Key responsibilities involve:
 
  • Driving new business and growing existing client sales
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Conducting research and planning face-to-face sales visits
  • Managing pipelines and pitching for new projects
  • Supporting contractors and engaging clients via CPD presentations
  • Advancing product and industry knowledge to offer technical support
  • Taking ownership of specific product groups for growth and quality oversight
  • Utilising software tools (like Phocas) for sales analysis and opportunity tracking
  • Collecting market intelligence and contributing insights to management
  • Attending site visits, trade shows, and toolbox meetings
  • Distributing client gifts strategically
  • Participating in training programs and applying learnings
  
The Person
 
The role combines strategic planning, client engagement, technical expertise, and continuous learning to drive commercial success. You will have proven industry sales experience, such as Construction and Engineering, supporting your market knowledge and drive to hit the ground running, hunting down the next big deal!
 
The role offers 2 days in the office in Epping and 3 days expectation to be out on the road. Time management, motivation and problem-solving skills along with strong communication both written and verbal are some of the key attributes we are looking for in the successful candidate.
