ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is one of Victoria`s fastest growing wharf transport companies. Located in Truganina in Melbourne's west, they boast one of the largest fleet of vehicles offering a wide range of services.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is looking for a skilled operator with solid VBS experience to join their timeslot coordination team. In this role you'll be reporting to the VBS Manager, manage Import and Export bookings across designated terminals, making sure client requirements are met and vehicles move through the wharf within deadline.
DUTIES
• Coordinate and plan daily timeslot schedules
• Communicate with customer service to ensure all client needs are met
• Handle timeslot and stack run bookings through the VBS platform
• Rearrange and update timeslots when required
• Manifest wharf vehicles via 1-Stop
• Update internal operating system with all driver movements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Solid experience in wharf/container transport with strong working knowledge of the 1-Stop VBS system
• Strong grasp of Victorian mass and dimension regulations and general WHS practices
• Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to stay organised, meet deadlines, and handle fast-paced, changing environments
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail; Freight Tracker experience is a bonus
