The Role

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, this role is responsible for coordinating workshop operations.

Key duties include scheduling of works to meet customer and business deadlines, managing labour resources, coordinating the build-up of engines and parts, and ensuring operational efficiency and safety standards are met. The Workshop Coordinator will work closely with internal stakeholders across supply chain, sales, and engineering teams, and may assume the responsibilities of the Workshop Supervisor when required.

A full pre-employment medical will be required, and a national police check will be required, so please be mindful of these when applying.

Key Requirements

• Coordination and scheduling of workshop activities to meet completion and promise dates.
• Management of labour resources to support operational requirements.
• Monitoring the order-to-delivery process to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture, with a focus on zero harm.
• Ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Engaging collaboratively with internal teams including supply chain, engineering, and sales.

Key Requirements

• Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualification or Certificate IV equivalent, supported by relevant work experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in workshop coordination, assembly, or manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise across technical and operational teams.
• Highly organised with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects within tight timeframes.
• Goal-oriented, proactive, and focused on delivering quality outcomes.
• Strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and customer service.
